Exercise Is Medicine

Exercise Is Medicine

In partnership with our long-standing member, the Canadian Society for Exercise Physiology, CSEP, we were able to secure funding to assist with the dissemination of their newest publication, Exercise is Medicine. In the new year, all members will be receiving a copy of this resource. We will also provide you with links to access the Exercise is Medicine resources that CSEP has developed for medical professionals and allied health practitioners. These new resources will inform older adults about safe and successful engagement in physical activity.

Our project also includes the re-establishment of our Older Adult Advisory Committee and recruiting role models to assist us with the promotion of the benefits of an active lifestyle.

Watch your mail in 2022 for this new health promotion publication.
