Recruiting for pilot home-based high-intensity functional strength training study - Home exercise pilot study

Pilot study from McMaster University is recruiting adults 55 and older who have had a slip, trip or fall (past year) and notice small changes in their mobility: feel free to share!

Have you recently had a slip, trip, or fall and notice small changes in how you walk and climb the stairs?

Changes in mobility after a slip, trip, or fall are common. This pilot study is looking for adults 55 and older who are living in the community and notice changes in their walking and/or stair climbing abilities after an injury from a slip, trip, or fall.  Eligible participants will receive either a home-based high-intensity functional strength training or lower-extremity stretching program. Please contact morgaa2@mcmaster.ca for additional details. This research has been reviewed by the Hamilton Integrated Research Board under Project #13879.
